The headline feature for both systems is the ability to render games at 8K resolution, leveraging advanced hardware-accelerated AI upscaling techniques.

AI Frame Generation

Native rendering at 8K remains incredibly demanding, so both companies are heavily relying on proprietary frame-generation algorithms similar to NVIDIA's DLSS. By using dedicated AI tensor cores on the console APUs, the systems can predict and generate intermediate frames, resulting in buttery-smooth 60fps or 120fps gameplay even at ultra-high resolutions.
